Big Bopper

Yesterday I was driving Mia home from a lesson and we were singing along to Ke$ha on the radio (I know, I’m such a dork), when the DJ intimated that Ke$ha was pregnant. We both screamed and had to Google this at a stoplight. What ensued was us both agreeing that Ke$ha was too young, and we didn’t think she was married or in a stable relationship (what do we know?). Mia brought up the fact that her aunt Tandi had a child at 20. But Mia felt this was ok because she was married. And then Mia decided that Ke$ha’s kid would be lucky to have a rock star mom. That’s cool. And then I realized that I’d just had a teenage moment with my 8 year old daughter.

And yes, I do sing along to Ke$ha. Who is the teenybopper here?

About baciamille

I'm Alexia, Alex, Lexi or Lex, depending on who you are. I'm mom to Mia, Maxim and Milan, wife to Darian, the co-creator and CEO known as Fancy Pants at Vuka Energy Drinks. I'm a marathon running, triathlete, musician and writer, wanna be rock star, all time actress, creative, vocal and sometimes just a little crahayzy. I think that's all. One day I plan to spend most of my time on a boat in the Carribean. Oh, and baciamille means a thousand kisses in Italian. I don’t know any other words in Italian.

Cool story. It helps sometimes to be able to relate to kids on their level. And life is short- have as many teenybopper moments as you want. 😉
